Process

How TaxSave works

A calm, fixed-fee path from first form to filed accounts or Self Assessment — with a clear checklist and a written summary before anything goes to HMRC.

1

Tell us your year

Quick form: Ltd package or personal SA, income types, and which year. We confirm your fee before any work starts.

2

Send your docs

We send a short checklist — typically P60, invoices, bank statements, and anything else that applies to your year.

3

We prepare and file

You review the summary. After one-time HMRC agent authorisation we submit for you — or we hand you a clear self-file pack.

Agent authorisation

To file as your agent, HMRC needs a one-time authorisation. We guide you through it once. Until then we can still prepare your return and either walk you through submitting yourself or hand you a file-ready pack.

This is a post-signup step — it never blocks getting started.

Deadlines

For online Self Assessment, the usual deadline is 31 January following the end of the tax year (6 April to 5 April). Filing earlier is fine and often calmer.
